The Ruby Lotti is located directly on the Stadthausbrücke in the heart of Hamburg. The hotel is within walking distance of the Jungfernstieg and City Hall as well as the most important sights and is in the immediate vicinity of the most renowned five-star hotels as well as the city's trendiest restaurants and bars. A large proportion of the 290 rooms are located directly on the canal, with a view of the water. Based on the history of the former publishing building and the neighbouring press district, the interior design of the Ruby Lotti is thematically dedicated to the reportage journalism of the sixties and seventies.

Are you passionate about air conditioning, plumbing or electrical systems and are you also a talented crafts(wo)man? You don't fancy being on call or working weekends? Then you've come to the right place. With us, you work Monday to Friday without being on-call.

Trust us, you won't get bored, as you: 

  • are responsible for all general technical minor repairs, structural repairs and necessary maintenance measures
  • check regularly the technical facilities of the hotel
  • coordinate all external facility management service providers
  • carry out painting and silicone work throughout the hotel
  • work closely with the corporate office in Munich and coordinate with the housekeeping team
  • supervise all regular maintenance and expert inspections of the technical and safety-related equipment in coordination with the Maintenance Manager
  • purchase replacement material in the area of responsibility

We've been waiting for you, since you have/are:

  • a training in the field of HVAC and/or electrical and several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • gained experience in leading/coordinating external service providers
  • good general manual skills and enjoy other trades (e.g. painting, electrical, plumbing)
  • a confident, authentic and loyal appearance
  • fluent in German
